I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room refurbishment was exceptional value for money, and the breakfast was exemplary. However, my room was not as stylish as the photos had portrayed, and it was a bit of a climb up four flights of stairs.

The location of the hotel was brilliant, right on the seafront. It was excellent near Bournemouth pier and great for the beach, gardens, and lovely restaurants.

The dining experience was fine, but the buffet was limited, and there were loud groups of people and kids that were not the most exclusive clientele. However, the prices were about 30 per cent lower than comparable hotels during high season.
